1. What in your experience uniquely qualifies you to serve
as Justice of the Peace?
I am a local attorney having experience in the Federal,State, and Local Government. I worked at the U.S. Attorney's Office, the Jefferson Parish Attorney's Office, the District Attorney's Office, and I served as a Federal Attorney in Louisiana, Texas, and Mississippi. I have handled civil and criminal matters involving vast issues. The Justice of the Peace is an important part of the judicial process that enables residents to have non-expensive and quick resolution to sometimes complex issues. The Justice of the Peace must be capable to handle these legal issues and to correctly resolve these legal disputes. My education and career allow me to serve as
Justice of the Peace in a fair and just manner while applying the laws to every issue.
2. The Office of Justice of the Peace is involved with rulings in minor civil matters and issues that affect the daily lives of citizens. How will you conduct your proceedings to accommodate the work day schedules of
citizens?
I am prepared to open the court to the residents of my district. I will have a night court to accommodate citizens who cannot afford to miss work to present their case. I will also make the office accessible through the internet. This is a court that has to accommodate working people with real problems. I am prepared to help the constituents in protecting themselves from harmful business transactions. I will be available to all residents. A...
