1. Should campaign finance reform be a priority? What reforms would you support? What is the proper role of corporations in U.S. elections?

Campaign finance reform should be a priorty in all elections. Tranparency with countributions and expenses shuold be watched closely to eliminate corruption so everyone could have a chance to serve their community no just the connected or the rich. I would support a cap on donations for all races to level the playing feild so all running for office have an equal cahnce. Corporations in elections should have a voice however they should be limited to the amount they can contribute so as not to give anyone an ufair advantage.

2. Do you support or oppose full disclosure of all political expenditures?

I support full disclosure of political expenditures.

3. Will you sponsor federal legislation to immediately accelerate the sharing of offshore oil and gas revenues with producing states along the Gulf Coast before the 2017 effective date, and would you support or oppose amending a bill to expedite grants from the Coastal Impact Assistance Program to those states?

Louisiana as well as the Gulf Coast are long over due their fair share of oil and gas revenues. This region of America has been forgotten about for way to long. We supply most of the country with sea food and our culture is some of the best in the country. Oil and gas revenu increases would help support all endevors and community projects in order to keep our area thriving. I would most definitly support amendind a bill to expeditegrants from Coastal Impact Assistance Program for all Gulf Coast Communities.

4. What measures would you support to decrease the high unemployment rate?

We need to get creative on helping people learn more about the jobs that are available in their area. I believe we have to have more job fairs in order to get the word out. We have jobs that are available but getting the word out is the key and I truely feel that people need a little help to get motivated in these trying times in order to even begin to reduce unemployment.

5. How will you balance the continuing costs of military actions with the costs of domestic needs?

Sometimes tha American government and maybe a little more than it should forgets about the people struggling right hear at home. I am all for the military and maintaining world peace but I believe there are a lot areas the government can cut spending and use the money to take care of its own. The government is way too big and I belive this massive institution is not what our founding members of our country had in mind when writing the Constittution. Cutting the size of governement is a great place to start.

1. What do you consider to be the primary responsibilities of this office?

To be fiscally responsible with the taxpayer's money while providing the necessary resources needed to effectively run the city. Keep the city clean and beautiful by being tuff on blight. Protecting the green space to prevent flooding.

2. What measures would you employ to meet these responsibilities?

Harahan doesn't need to be a bigger city, it needs to be a better city. We need to be creative in increasing revenue for the city without raising taxes. We need fresh ideas to maximize our green space, enhance recreational facilities and improve our drainage infrastructure. We must provide the resources to insure the safety of all in our community.
